| Built-in Thermal
Performance
In Allseason-Plus Glass, a vacuum is created
between the panes, then filled with inert Argon gas to improve insulating
performance. Low-E coatings also are applied to help prevent
nighttime heat loss in the winter and daytime solar heat gain in the
summer.
To select the right glass for the roof window you're
installing, choose from Roto's high-performance glazing options. The
result is always crisp, clear brightness and maximum thermal performance
for all your applications.
Roto Allseason-PLUS glass cuts summer-time heat gain
from direct transmission, absorbed solar radiation, and air-to-air heat
gain from high outdoor temperatures.
It also reduces wintertime heat loss from the thermal
radiation from glass surface to glass surface, and from the conduction of
heat through molecules of air. With its Low-E coatings and
Argon-filled airspace, Roto roof windows provide twice the performance of
standard, two-pane insulating glass.
